Carl Denver started life as the world’s youngest licensed animal trainer in the Guiness Book of Records but soon decided that there were better career prospects behind the camera than  in-front of it. At 22 he qualified with an HND in Photography at Blackpool & Fylde College and immediately flew out to join the first of 15 different cruise-ships for a 12 year career as Ship’s Photographer. This took him around the world several times, making good friends along the way and gave him chance to skydive in New Zealand, dog-sled in Alaska, walk with penguins in Patagonia, get lost in Bermuda and go loco in Acapulco. Carl swapped sea for snow in 2001 and went to work on the slopes of Zermatt, Switzerland taking photos of skiiers & snowboarders posed with his St. Bernard Dogs in front of the Matterhorn

When he returned to the UK, Carl worked as Operations Manager for Themeshots Photography at Blackpool Pleasure Beach & Alton Towers. It was shortly after this that Carl set-up Carl Denver Photography shooting local sports, corporate functions and other events, predominantly the nightclub scene. He built his own touchscreen photo kiosks running bespoke event software (Party Printer) and was the first nightclub photographer in the UK to use wi-fi enabled cameras linked to the self serve kiosks with built in payment mechanisms that could display and print out the images in seconds.

We now have a photo-booth with an inflatable enclosure so guests can pose however they want without embarrassment of being seen by friends or strangers. At just 2.4m x 2.4m x2.4m, the photobooth inflatable cube fits snugly in most venue rooms but the photo kiosk itself can be operated without the enclosure if the room’s ceiling height is restricted

Carl is a new father of a beautiful little boy called Beau Denver, but despite shooting some fun pictures of Beau, Carl is sticking to what he knows best, social events photography or as Carl terms it “Hit’n’Run Photography.” If you would like a booth or studio at your forthcoming event, or if you would like to enquire about business opportunities using one of our Party Printer Photo Kiosks then please contact us.
